FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
So, whether you’re the owner of an EV or looking to add a public EV charging station to your commercial property, here are just a few things you should know about how an EV charger works.
EV Charging is to reenergize or charge the electric vehicle battery pack. One of the biggest concerns for electric vehicle (EV) owners is knowing when and how to charge their vehicle. Charging EV takes a little more planning, but with the growing demand and incentives on EV cars and other vehicles, public EV charging stations are becoming a more common sight.
Both electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles require an EV charger to charge the battery, just like any chargeable device or electronic gadget.
At its most basic, an EV charger pulls an electrical current from either a 230v outlet and delivers that electricity to the vehicle, just like any other appliance or device you charge by plugging into the wall.
Electric vehicles usage is growing day by day with launches of new EV models hitting the market. There is a requirement of EV charging infrastructure across India in order to support the e-mobility, we offer EV Charging station business customized solutions for our partners to help establish a network of charging infrastructure across highways, Cities, Businesses, commercial locations & Residential complexes.
Charging time depends on both the type of charger used and the vehicle battery capacity. For completely empty batteries using our AC Type 2 charger, an owner can expect to fully charge a car battery in less than 5 hours. A “Quick Charge” DC station can charge a fully depleted battery up to 80% fully charged in less than 30 minutes to 1 hour.
